DIAGONAL coordinating parnter ICCRAM organized the Conference on Safe and Sustainability by Design towards Innovation on 17 May 2023 in Burgos, Spain.

DIAGONAL partners had several presentations: Carlos Rumbo (ICCRAM) gave an general overview on the project, Elorri Igos (LIST) talked about the background and challenges of the sustainability assessment of nanomaterials, Ramjitti Indaraprasirt (member of DIAGONAL Advisory Board (NANOTEC)) gave an interesting talk on the National Nanotechnology Center of Thailand (NANOTEC) as Nanosafety initiative highlighting their activities and their role in standardisation and harmonisation. Finally, Christian Rein (DTI) and Marios Kourtelesis (Monolithos) gave a short presentation about their companies and their role as demonstrators in the project.
