The NanoInformaTIX Final Event aims to share project results with the whole comunity of scientists, policy makers and industry players who can benefit from the project outcomes and by the state-of-the-art knowledge on a variety of topics in the areas of safety and sustainability of advanced (nano)materials.
The 8th International Conference on Health and Safety Issues for a socially responsible approach to nanomaterials will be organized in Grenoble, France, from 5th to 9th June 2023.
The school will take place in the historic centre of Venice, Italy, from 14–19 May 2023 and aims to transfer State-of-the-Art knowledge on various topics from key experts to the new generation of professionals, using interprofessional education in hands-on sessions.
Join our school and learn more about Safe and Sustainable by Design!
DIAGONAL project was included in the latest BNN QUARTERLY (Dec 2022) with an article about “Toxicological Evaluation of Manganese Oxide Nanomaterials in Different Human in vitro Models” by our partner Universidad de Burgos – ICCRAM (pages 24-25).
On 25 November 2022, the Horizon Europe project IRISS (The InteRnatIonal ecosystem for accelerating the transition to Safe-and-Sustainable-by-design materials, products and processes) organized its first digital workshop, focusing on the application of the SSbD concept in materials and chemicals.
During the week of 9 November 2022, in the framework of WP4 (Task 4.2 “Monitoring campaigns”) of the DIAGONAL project, ITENE, LIST and ISQ have been in the premises of Monolithos and Creative Nano partners, located in Athens.
DIAGONAL featured in Stakeholder Workshop on “Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) paradigms applied to (nano)materials” at BioCeramics32 in September 2022 in Venice, Italy.
DIAGONAL will be participating and supporting the Microbial Technologies Week (specifically during the 8th and 9th of November) in Ljubljana, primarily organized between GREENER and SURFBIO EU funded projects.
In 2023, two internationally renowned conferences, Inhaled Particles and NanOEH are coming together to disseminate the current knowledge and understanding surrounding (nano)particle and fibre hazard, exposure and risk. This collaborative conference will be held in Manchester (UK), between the 15th and 18th of May 2023.
